Mr. Lawrence recently resolved a significant Federal civil case in the Northern District of Ohio after filing a pre-answer motion to dismiss on behalf of his client.  All of the plaintiff's claims were dismissed with prejudice.

Mr. Lawrence was recently asked to present at Halfmoon Education's Water Law and Regulations Seminar in Livonia, Michigan on September 19, 2017.

Mr. Lawrence's article To Arrange or Not to Arrange, Intent is the Question was recently cited by the Northwestern University Law Review.  The article addresses the the useful product defense in the context of arranger liability under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), known also as Superfund.

Mr. Lawrence recently resolved a breach of contract, non-compete, and breach of fiduciary duty case in Oakland County after filing a pre-answer motion to dismiss.  The plaintiff sued the clients after they sold their business.   All of the plaintiff's claims were dismissed with prejudice.
